The Author

Jody De Bruin was born in 1985 in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. He considers his family to be the most important part of his life; his reason for living. When he is not spending time with them or writing, you will almost surely find him hiking up a mountain trail, enjoying the beach and forest and woodland surrounding Cape Town, weight training, and more often than not, with his nose buried in a good horror, thriller or epic fantasy book. He has a 17 year background in Retail Management, and Operations Management within the property industry.

Jody writes horror, thriller, and suspense stories. At the age of 8, he narrowly escaped an attempt on his life, which is one of the reasons he writes darker, scarier tales. Jody knows horror in the deepest sense. He has come face to face with it, more than once, and lived to tell the story.
